A March for Marriage moves across the McCarthur Bridge of Belle Isle State Park.
Balloons and bikes will be followed by breaking bread at the Fifth Annual Urban/Suburban Unity Pot Luck Picnic with Praise at the Playscape Area of the iconic park in the middle of the Detroit River.
At 10 am, youth will gather with their family at the Rev. S. Y. Moon Peace Pole near the picnic site to praise God and re-dedicate themselves to chastity before marriage, and more.
All are welcome.
The Anniversary Cake follows the pot luck lunch that will be served while participant arrive from the March for Marriage, the Rev. Moon Peace Pole Praise, and, common praise of God as the pastoral park.
Hundreds are expected of all-faith traditions, cultures and generations for games, dancing, drumming, and more.
